Here's a little update on the course map. We are projecting that the course will be the same as last year, baring any last minute changes. The Start/Finish line will however be moved. Last year the finish had to be moved back about 200m due to some rough spots on the road. Everything should be patched up and will move us up to our original intended line.
The course map can be found here and on our maps page.

Race Date - July 8, 2012
The Atlantic Race Series has been announced with both a road and mountain calendar on tap for 2012. We are very proud to announce that the Silver Fox Classic will be the opening round of the road race series. The four race series will start in the small village of Salisbury, NB on July 8th. The three other calendar dates are July 29th in New Glasgow PEI, Aug 18-19 in Port-au-Port NL, and will conclude Aug 25-26 with the Cape Breton Stage Race.
Last year was the first running of the Silver Fox Classic, this traditional sprinters course is a fast 20km loop. Last year ideal weather conditions brought warm sun, lots of smiles, and fast racing! With the aid of a tailwind a two man break foiled the sprinters in an exciting finish to the A race. All categories featured great racing and close finishes, and we are sure 2012 will not disappoint!
Planning is well underway, and more details and info will be released very soon.

2012 Here We Come!
The word is out, and the 2012 calendar is being worked on! We should see a more finite calendar really soon, however in the meantime I can say that the Silver Fox Classic will be back for 2012!
After a very successfuly first run last year, we have begun preparations for another great event this year!
We will certainly post up as more details come available!

Resuts are in!
A fantastic day of racing for the our first road race in Salisbury! We plan to be back with an even better event next year!
The results are posted on the Results Page, and on the VeloNB website too.
The racing was fast and furious across all of the Categories! The "A" group covered five laps of the 20.3km loop with a final average speed of 39.5km/h! There was lots of action, and the spectators were not disapointed. On top of all that, it was extremely nice to see the sun out too.
We hope that everyone had a good time, and we hope to see you next year!
Also a big thanks to all of our volunteers!!!
Don't forget the next event on the Calendar is the Hadley Challenge Aug 21st, and for some more fun road action, the Cyclebetes ride is Sept 3rd, go out and support a good cause!!
